I am delighted to invite you to The Congresses of the International Union of Microbiological Societies. On behalf of the National Organizing Committee, I look forward to welcoming you in Montréal between July 27 and August 1, 2014.

For the XIVth International Congress of Bacteriology and Applied Microbiology, the XIVth International Congress of Mycology and the XVIth International Congress of Virology, we want to promote international sharing, cooperation and open discussions on recent advances in microbiology research. These congresses bring together the largest, most comprehensive group of microbiology researchers at a single gathering. This world class event draws upon the expertise and experience of organizations and countries from across the globe.

Special efforts will be made to attract as many young scientists as possible, both from developed and from low and middle income countries.
